For the 2025 Kansas QSO Party, I will be returning as an Expedition station running SSB from a few counties as K0T. I will be in Ellsworth County at Kanopolis Lake State Park (US-2342) on Saturday and at the Marion, Chase, and Morris county corner on Sunday. I will be mainly on 20m and 40m SSB, but I may jump to some other bands if necessary (including 6m if the band opens). My HF setup will be my FT-991 into an inverted vee linked dipole 20m and 40m, and a separate 6m dipole, all off a drive-on mast at about 25 feet. I will have a tuner as well so I can jump to other bands, although performance will not be particularly good.

I am also bringing some satellite gear as well to work a few passes on Saturday outside of the Kansas QSO Party (satellites are not a part of it) to work toward my mission to activate all Kansas State Parks on satellites. These passes will likely be on FM birds but may work some linears if needed to get my 10 contacts in. Kanopolis Lake State Park is in grid EM18.

I will QSL direct and via LOTW for all contacts. Saturday’s logs will also be submitted to POTA. If you hear me during the weekend, please spot me at http://qsopartyhub.com/ksqp-spots.php.
